How to Clean Your Aligners Properly
Clean aligners are happy aligners. Because they sit against your teeth for 20–22 hours a day, anything trapped inside them — sugar, bacteria, plaque — gets pressed against your enamel for hours on end. A few seconds of daily care prevents almost every common issue.
Our recommended routine: rinse aligners under cool water every time you remove them, brush them gently with a soft toothbrush and clear hand soap (not toothpaste — it's abrasive), and soak them once a day in an aligner-cleaning crystal solution while you eat.
Avoid hot water, mouthwash with dye, and harsh whitening products — they can warp or stain your trays. With the right care, each set stays nearly invisible from start to finish.
